Philippe Wackers is Innovation Manager EMEA Healthcare at NetApp since May 2017. After he graduated in the field of Industrial Electronics in 1988, Wackers started his career in the IT world, and worked at different system integrators to move to DELL in 2001, where he worked for five years. in July 2006 he started working for NetApp as Consulting System Engineer. Prior to his role as Innovation Manager EMEA Healthcare, Wackers was EMEA Healthcare Innovation and Solution Architect. His specialties include project management, Enterprise SAN architecture, complex (high performance, business continuity, redundancy) storage design, field installation of SAN solutions and servers (Windows, Novell, Linux, Solaris), Virtualization solutions (VMware VSphere, View, Xen, Hyper-V), healthcare applications, cloud, pacs, HER, hybrid & public cloud, AI, machine learning, and genomic applications.
